Humans Must Answer is a side-scrolling space shooter by Sumom Games set in the distant future where chickens have taken to space. Yes, I said chickens. Playing as the pilot of the chicken-inhabited starship “The Golden Eagle”, you are faced with combat when it is discovered that humans do not take kindly to your brethren’s invasion of the skies above Earth. Apparently, humans believe that chickens shouldn’t be able to fly, and so humanity throws everything it can at the Golden Eagle to knock it out of orbit. In classic shmup style, you’ll blast enemy ships and turrets while drifting through space. Utilizing the different weapon types for enemies with differing characteristics, you’ll have to develop strategies to ensure your survival. There’s more to Humans Must Answer than simply blasting everything out of the skies, as you must creatively use your weaponry to take down seemingly unreachable enemies and trip switches in order to progress forward through the game. I’m not gonna make it! Too many doggie-biscuit-laser thingies! Although Humans Must Answer is relatively early in its development, its graphics already look splendid. The background landscapes showcase the wonders of the solar system, while in the foreground enemy ships explode into a fragmented mess. Space stations and enemy installations are also pleasant to look at, as everything found in the game so far has been thoughtfully rendered. Humans Must Answer is shaping up to be a game that challenges your perception of what a space-war with technologically advanced chickens would be like. Features: Eye popping explosions and a spectacular destruction system Combine weapons to devastating effect and deploy drone turrets Subtle and surprising narrative that is integrated into the gameplay Shop with a large number of upgrades for the ship and weapons Tough boss battles that require thought as well as quick reactions Secrets to discover and hidden eggs to collect but often at a risk Humans Must Answer is flying through space but needs your votes to find the Steam system, so help them out flyin’ over to Steam Greenlight.
