Last month Stephen helped break the news that Valve announced that all the IGF award finalists would receive a Steam distribution contract. The results are now in and Valve has announced that all 28 Main Competition Finalists from the 2013 Independent Games Festival will officially receive Steam Distribution Agreements so that their games can be released on Steam. Two of the finalists, Kentucky Route Zero and Incredipede, were already on Steam Greenlight and therefore have been officially greenlit thanks to their success at the IGF.

Editors note: GirlPower23, in a steam forum post pointed out that we reported the wrong year in this article as 2012 when it should have been 2013.
